Tennis ball or pickleball machine rental: Rent a ball machine and a court for 1 hour for $35.
Court fees must be paid by check or cash. Call or email to reserve machine.

There is no limit to how many times individuals are allowed to play.
Individuals or groups may request permanent (reoccurring) court time. However, such requests are subject to availability. Further, requests from tennis center members will be given priority.
Drills and Lessons: A person interested in taking part in drills or lessons does not have to be a member; however, they will need to pay $10 extra per drill or lesson (payable to WATA).
Pickleball Fees (per person) – 2025/2026
Pickleball Membership for the 2025/2026 Season (Note: You don’t need a membership to play pickleball at our facility. However, if you play frequently, a membership may save you money. See options below.)
Adult Individual Pickleball Membership: $135 per year + may schedule permanent court time
Full Tennis Membership: (excluding, Super Senior, New Member, or Student Tennis Memberships) allows individuals to play pickleball for free. See prices above (determined by age).
Full Student Pickleball Membership: $150 per year + may schedule permanent court time
Standard Student Pickleball Membership: $75 per year + may schedule permanent court time
Pickleball Court Fees (for the 2025/2026 Season)
Adult or Student non-members: $10 flat fee for up to two hours of play
Adult Individual Pickleball Membership or Standard Student Pickleball Membership: $5 for up to two hours of play
Full Tennis Membership or Full Student Pickleball Membership: Free for up to two hours of play
If you are interested in receiving instruction for an “Intro to Pickleball” session, please contact us at wata@hbci.com or 507-474-6700 to get one free lesson scheduled. Instruction will be provided by Dan Hampton or another qualified instructor.
Racquet Restringing
Jeff Halberg, General Manager and Director of Tennis Operations at the Winona Tennis and Pickleball Center, offers custom racquet stringing. The price is $20 if you supply your own string, $30 for Babolat synthetic gut, and $38 for Babolat polyester. Drop off your racquet(s) at the tennis desk during our normal business hours.
